The Sainik School Society (SSS) is developing an automated system to provide online counseling to students seeking admission to 100 new Sainik schools, the Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday.

“Moving forward with the government’s goal of establishing 100 new Sainik schools nationwide, the Sainik School Society (SSS) is developing an automated system for conducting online counseling,” said the ministry in a statement.

He said e-counselling will be less expensive and user-friendly for all stakeholders – schools and students.

“It will apply to new schools established as part of the government’s vision to provide students across the country with the opportunity to get in step with national education policy while following the curriculum of the Sainik School. “, said the ministry.

“This automated online counseling system will ensure full transparency in the admissions process,” he added.

The ministry said that students will be advised to register through a link provided on the web portal “http://www.sainikschool.ncog.gov.in” www.sainikschool.ncog.gov.in and verify their details .

“Students will have the option to select up to 10 schools as their choice of assignment. Thereafter, the assignment of schools to students will be done by the system based on their rank and choice of schools and the result will be declared via online counseling portal,” the ministry said.
